With BAL Rapid-Mat, you're installing a lightweight and thin mat, only 0.8mm thick – perfect for when minimal height build-up is required.
This compares with traditional cavity mats which are typically 4mm thick, with a layer of fleece bonded by mesh to an upper layer.
Being only 0.8mm thick also means that BAL Rapid-Mat 30m rolls are smaller and lighter than traditional cavity mat system.
At only 8.5kg per roll, compared to 16-18kg per roll respectively, this means they are not only easier to carry but they take up less space in your van. This means less trips from your stockist, and more space for your adhesive and tools!
