What is you experience with either, or even lucky enough to have both makes maybe and prefer one cutter over then other for some types of tile or score/cut. And the other make perhaps reliable with tough long tile and thin cuts?

What's your flavour?

Rubi Tile Cutters or Sigma Tile Cutters?

Or maybe even something else??

I used to prefer the rubi tx over any tile that was around back then say prior to 2008 market crash and then it was slow and then when I came back from it these thin porcelain ones I've had to learn a whole new way to cut using large bars on top of tile that you run a score down the whole thing. Snaps lovely tile dependent.

I used to sell Rubi at topps tiles another life ago, so used rubi well but used big clinker for heavier stuff where everybody else went sigma. So I know they're both good and have their own followings etc but can't knock a big clinker too.

Got to be Sigma for me all day long although I liked the Cutter you linked to the other day the cheap job on amazon. Wonder if it would stand the test of time though. 2 weeks of 10hr days with fully vitrified tile.

This discussion goes on forever 😆

Know a lot of rubi users who switched when sigma started to knock around in the UK.

As long as the cuts are good it really doesn't matter that much. I bet users of both would be able use the other for a few days just fine.
