Sam Hoffman of Tilers Community Facebook Group, Said to Dan Freakley who owns the legendary Tilers Forums; “Mate what’s wrong with your eyes, you look a bit downs hahaha”

Dan Freakley has been called “A Bit Downs Mate”. If the police were to be involved Sam Hoffman, who owns Tilers Community on Facebook, a small Group for Tilers to share tips and advice, would be in serious trouble. Because picking on somebody who has a disability is not only a hate crime, it is one that the Crown Prosecution Service instructs The Police Service to take ALL cases to court. It is out of the hands of the Police.

That’s 22 companies that I will be reaching out to on behalf of Tilers Talk BB, to get their take on this situation that could be very serious.

Dan Freakley that owns Tilers Forums, which is still the UK’s number one source for Tiling Advice, even over and above The Tile Association’s own website, with millions of monthly unique visitors, has said he is still in shock that somebody would do something so horrible to another person as to call them disabled-looking. Dan has not been able to add his own images to his own Facebook since. Even his private one that his family only are invited to. He is still processing the pain, and is still considering sharing the facebook chat with Staffordshire Police. Which is why we have not posted the image online, but I can confirm it exists and I have a copy of the chat.

This is absolutely disgusting behaviour from a person who is now in damage control mode and has already started to spread lies about Dan Freakley online.

There was some 2 decades ago an article in a paper about him having a road rage incident where he pulled a guy out of his windscreen and proceeded to beat him up, for pulling out on him. He got sentenced at Cheshire Crown Court (The Castle) and went to HMP Liverpool, one of the nastiest of prisons going.

He has served his time, took it on the chin, and built Tilers Forums up AFTER all of this.

And this is still being spread around as if it is new news. The legal system that we all prescribe to as citizens in the UK says that once the time has been spent, it’s spent. And we are all fair again in society. Nobody else should then be trying to bad mouth a forum he built up that has 27,500+ UK tilers on it, who are nothing to do with the incident.

And Sam Hoffman is spreading this around as if it is new news, in retaliation for Dan saying he will be speaking to me who will be creating an article to show the real person behind the Tilers Community facebook group.

Somebody brushed this off as politics. But it isn’t, it is a very unfair use of foul language against a person that is disabled and has kept this quiet for 42 years, only for some adolescent bloke to use it as a joke.

Not on.

We will be contacting every company mentioned above and will publish any responses we get from them. And we wont stop until we do get a response.

We have spoken to Sam about this and he doesn’t even deny it. A recent communication he asks for us to crack on with whatever we are doing but why don’t we leave out that bit about a personal attack! And again doesn’t deny saying it.

There’s stuff Dan has said that is bang out of order, sure, but he didn’t pick on a bloke with disabilities, by calling his eyes funny and a bit downs.
